Abstract :
ABSTRACT The research entitled "Mediation of Dispute Resolution Related to Environmental Pollution Due to Leakage of Shrimp Factory Waste Disposal -\Plant Between PT BMI and the Lamongan Community" aims to firstly analyze the dispute mediation process between PT BMI and the Lamongan community and secondly to analyze the results of dispute resolution mediation between PT BMI and the community. in Lamongan. The research method used is empirical legal research with a hypothetical descriptive approach based on empirical data and secondary data. The case studied in this study is the case of environmental pollution experienced by the Lamongan community. This case has obtained a decision that has been signed by both parties between PT BMI and representatives of the Lamongan community. Based on the results of the research, it can be seen that the First Key: mediation has been carried out several times, approximately three times which was attended by representatives from seven villages and PT BMI. The first mediation was carried out at the village head's office, but there was no common ground so that another mediation was carried out, but at this time an agreement was formed on the formation of a forum. The next mediation is to produce an agreement between the two parties. The results of the second study: after mediation an agreement was formed, namely the establishment of a supervisory forum, PT BMI without a permit alias smells, PT BMI will not have waste in the irrigation canal, PT BMI provides to clean up waste in the culvert, PT BMI is ready to settle within two weeks, if PT BMI is not ready in two weeks then the company is ready to stop its production for a two week basis..
