Abstract :
ABSTRACT The topic of this research is ?MORAL VALUES IN CHAPMAN?S BRAVE, THE MOVIE?. Movie can be considered as the most popular literary work yet brings out language aspects into expanded. Moral are related to good and bad things for a human to change in their life. The goal of this research is to find out the categories of moral values that the writer tries to convey in BRAVE the movie and describe the way of presenting the moral values in that movie. This research was applying descriptive qualitative method. The importance of moral values in this movie is to remind us to advise us to love our families, especially our mother, even though sometimes we getting conflicts, it will solved with love and affection.Even the title emphasizes brave values, it turns out that the moral value in this movie is more complex. The results of this study indicate that there are 7 moral values. They are bravery, humbleness, sympathetic to other, cooperative, kind- hearted, sincerity, and love and affection. Where apart of brave, all moral values in human life must be balanced. Brave is needed but also must remain with love and affection so that there are no regrets.
