Bekti Wirawati, M.Pd (2) Dr. Ribut Surjowati, S.Pd, M.Pd Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pemahaman membaca siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah pembelajaran dengan menggunakan website Storybird pada siswa kelas XI MIPA 1 SMA Hang Tuah 4 Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 Siklus dimana setiap Siklus meliputi 4 tahapan yaitu (1) Perencanaan, (2) Tindakan, (3) Observasi, (4) Refleksi Hasil penelitian pada siklus I tidak berhasil karena 60% dari siswa mampu melewati indikator keberhasilan, maka dilakukan perbaikan pada siklus II yang menghasilkan keberhasilan dengan 85% siswa mampu mencapai dan lulus indikator keberhasilan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan website Storybird dapat meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa kelas XI MIPA 1 SMA Hang Tuah 4 Surabaya. Bekti Wirawati, M.Pd (2) Dr. Ribut Surjowati, S.Pd, M.Pd This study aims to determine whether students' reading comprehension has improved after teaching learning by using the Storybird website at class XI MIPA 1 of SMA Hang Tuah 4 Surabaya. This research implements the classroom action research method. This research was conducted in 2 Cycles where each Cycle includes 4 stages, namely (1) Planning, (2) Action, (3) Observation, (4) Reflection The results of the research in the first cycle were not successful because 60% of students were able to pass the success indicator, so improvements were made in the second cycle which resulted in success with 85% of students able to achieve and pass the success indicator. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that learning using the Storybird website can improve students' reading comprehension in class XI MIPA 1 of SMA Hang Tuah 4 Surabaya.
