Abstract :
ABSTRAK Acne vulgaris merupakan inflamasi pada kelenjar sebaceous yang dapat dipengaruhi oleh hormonal, hiperkeratinisasi folikel, genetik, dan faktor lingkungan. Bagi perempuan, acne vulgaris merupakan masalah kulit yang mengganggu penampilan dan menyebabkan hilangnya rasa percaya diri. Berbagai jenis pengobatan acne vulgaris dilakukan baik topikal maupun oral. Pengobatan topikal dianggap kurang efektif daripada obat oral dalam pengobatan acne vulgaris kistik. Obat oral yang biasa digunakan dalam pengobatan acne vulgaris kistik adalah isotretinoin. Isotretinoin dapat menghambat fungsi kelenjar sebaceous dan keratinisasi sehingga mengurangi produksi sebum dan mengurangi ukuran kelenjar sebaceous. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan kajian kepustakaan (library research). Pencarian artikel dalam ini menggunakan tiga database yaitu Pubmed, Google Scholar dan Publish or Perish. Hasil analisis dari 10 jurnal didapatkan bahwa isotretinoin terhadap gravida mempunyai efek teratogenik yang menyebabkan malformasi kongenital pada fetus hingga abortus. Kata kunci: Acne Vulgaris, Gravida, Isotretinoin, Teratogenik. ABSTRACT Acne vulgaris is inflammation of the sebaceous glands which can be influenced by hormones, follicular hyperkeratinization, genetics, and environmental factors. For women, acne vulgaris is a skin problem that interferes with appearance and causes loss of self-confidence. Various types of acne vulgaris treatment are carried out both topically and orally. Topical treatments are considered less effective than oral medications in the treatment of cystic acne vulgaris. The oral drug commonly used in the treatment of cystic acne vulgaris is isotretinoin. Isotretinoin can inhibit the function of the sebaceous glands and keratinization thereby reducing sebum production and reducing the size of the sebaceous glands. This research is a type of descriptive research with library research. Searching for articles in this literature review uses three databases, namely Pubmed, Google Scholar and Publish or Perish. The results of the analysis of 10 journals found that isotretinoin against gravida has a teratogenic effect which causes congenital malformations in the fetus up to abortion.
