Abstract :
Hypertension is a very dangerous non-communicable disease (PTM). Hypertension is a risk factor for damage to important organs such as the brain, heart, kidneys, retina, large blood vessels (aorta) and peripheral blood vessel. Hypertension causes heart attacks to death, because it is important to make an effort to reduce the risk of hypertension by preventing and controlling risk factors such as smoking, unhealthy lifestyle, lack of vegetables and fruits intake and also excess weight. This study is a descriptive study where the collection of data is retrospective, i.e. based on medical record information and patient pharmaceutical data taken from RSUD Ibnu Sina Gresik in January-June 2022.The conclusion of Hypertension sufferers in RSUD Ibnu Sina most suffered by patients aged 65-74 years.The antihypertensive drugs that are frequently used in the group of beta-blockers are Bisoprolol doses of 2.5 mg tablets that are used both single and in combination and 64.3% of patients including controlled hypertension.
