Abstract :
This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of variables of export, import, inflation, exchange rate, foreign debt and interest rates on foreign exchange reserves in Indonesia both in the long term and short term in the period 2010 to 2016. The sample in this study amounted to 84 observations with time series data which will be used as research objects. The dependent variable in this study is Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves, while the independent variables are exports, imports, inflation, exchange rates, foreign debt and interest rates. To see the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable, this study uses a multiple linear regression analysis approach in the long term and uses Error Corretion Model (ECM) in the short term. Based on the results of the research, it can be seen that in the short term the export and foreign debt variables have a significant positive effect on Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves, while other variables namely import, inflation, exchange rates and interest rates have no significant effect on Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves.
