Abstract :
This study aimed to determine the use of anesthetic drugs that are better combinations of Xylazine - Ketamine and Xylazine - Zoletil use a reference for calculating the number of pulsus and the frequency of breathing in rabbits (Oryctolagus cuniculus). The experimental animals used were 24 rabbits divided into 3 treatments with 8 replications. The treatment group was treatment (P0) injection of Cetamine injection with a single dose of 20 mg/kgBB; treatment group (P1) injection of Xylazin dose of 0.15 mg/kgBB followed by injection of Cetamine dose 20 mg/kgBB; treatment group (P2) injection of Atropine sulfate 0,2 mg / kgBB followed by injection of Xylazine 3mg/kgBB then followed by injection of Zoletil dose 3 mg/kgBB. Each treatment used 8 rabbits as replications so that overall 24 rabbits were used. The data obtained were analyzed used one way ANOVA statistical test. From the results of the study it was concluded that the combination of Xylazin-Cetamine and Xylazin-Zoletil anesthesia was not significantly different (P Asymp. Sig> 0.05) in each treatment calculating the pulsus number and frequency of breath in rabbits.
