Abstract :
Islamophobia became a hot issue after 9/11 tragedy. Islam became a central of view because of it. The actor of this tragedy is Osama Bin Laden with his Organization, Al Qaeda. He said that this attack is one of Jihad way in Islam. 8QLWHG6WDWHVLVPXVOLP¶VHQHPLHV?$IWHU2VDPD¶VUHFRJQLWLRQ? ,VODPEHLQJD religion with negative stereotype. Muslim get many discrimination in US after this tragedy. But, the cause of Islamophobia not only 9/11 tragedy. Islamophobia born after crusade, when Muslim get the win in that war. Before 9/11 tragedy, American was get Islamophobia. The indication of this phenomena is look at the film and American Comic. 9/11 tragedy is trigger for increasing Islamophobia in one decade. Beside that Politician and mass media take the action for increasing Islamophobia too. They use Islamophobia as issue for getting the support from American. In other hand, miss perception about Jihad by American is being a factor why Islamophobia increasing in US too. Many Muslim get the discrimination because of Islamophobia. This thesis want to describe what is the factor that increasing Islamophobia in United States.
