Both groups were given questionnaire for the pre-test and post-test with the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), then the intervention group given life skills training. The hypothesis of this study was tested by the Wilcoxon Rank Test. This study got result of the depression levels of the intervention group and the control group at pre test were 38,89% and 5,56%, that means the depression levels of intervention group was higher than control group. The final results of the study showed a significant decrease in the level of depression in the intervention group, whereas the control group didQ¶W. Significant value for the intervention group was p=0.001(p <0.05) and values for the control group was p=0.414(p> 0.05). This suggests that life skills training (life skills) is effective to reduce the level of adolescent depression.
