Abstract :
In Pakistan, particularly in rural and sub-urban areas, women are situated largely at the bottom end of the educational system in comparison to their male counterparts. Traditionally it is assumed that women are limited to their homes and men are the breadwinners of the family. Pakistan has not been able to bring children especially girls to school. Low enrollment rate and rapid population growth have led to steady increase in out of school children especially girls, and resultantly number of illiterates in the country gradually multiplied. This undergraduate thesis seeks the policies of Pakistani government and United Nation in empowering women on educational aspect. The author used women empowerment concept, government concept, international organization concept and International cooperation theory to help the author in writing this research. The result of this research explain that the Pakistani government and united nations have their own policies or programs as their effort to empower Pakistani women on educational aspect and they also have cooperated to each other in solving the problems of Pakistani women education that existed there.
