Abstract :
INDONESIA: Peraturan Presiden Nomor 87 Tahun 2017 menjelaskan terkait Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter Pasal 1 Ayat 1 yang berbunyi ?penguatan pendidikan karakter yang selanjutnya disingkat sebagai PPK adalah gerakan pendidikan di bawah tanggung jawab satuan pendidikan untuk memperkuat karakter peserta didik melalui harmonisasi olah hati, olah rasa, olah pikir, dan olahraga dengan pelibatan dan kerja sama antara satuan pendidikan, keluarga, dan masyarakat sebagai bagian dari Gerakan nasional revolusi mental (GNRM)?. Selain itu, tujuan pengembangan karakter ialah untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses dan hasil pendidikan. Akibatnya, karakter dan akhlak mulia peserta didik perlu untuk dibentuk secara utuh, terpadu, dan seimbang dengan standar kompetensi lulusan di setiap satuan pendidikan melalui proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Bagaimana implementasi pendidikan karakter sosial bagi siswa kelas VIII MTs Al-Husna Probolinggo berbasis pesantren melalui pembelajaran IPS. (2) Bagaimana faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat implementasi pendidikan karakter sosial bagi siswa kelas VIII MTs Al-Husna Probolinggo berbasis pesantren melalui pembelajaran IPS. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian meliputi kondensasi data, displai data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Implementasi Pendidikan Karakter Sosial bagi siswa kelas VIII MTs Al-Husna Probolinggo berbasis Pesantren melalui pembelajaran IPS dilakukan dengan pembiasaan di dalam kelas maupun di luar kelas. Pembiasaan di dalam kelas meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi yang diintegrasikan dengan nilai-nilai karakter sosial oleh guru. Kemudian, pembiasaan di luar kelas dilakukan dengan menerapkan budaya madrasah seperti 6S (Senyum, Salam, Sapa, Salaman, Sopan, Santun), dan 7K (Keamanan, Kebersihan, Ketertiban, Keindahan, Kekeluargaan, Kerindangan, Kesehatan). Serta juga diterapkan melalui beberapa kegiatan seperti pembacaan surat-surat pendek, menjaga kebersihan (Ro?an), Sholat berjama?ah, dan kegiatan ekstrakulikuler. (2) Faktor yang mendukung implementasi pendidikan karakter sosial bagi siswa antara lain peraturan dan tata tertib madrasah, lingkungan. Sedangkan faktor penghambat terdiri atas kesadaran peserta didik, semangat dan motivasi siswa, serta sarana dan prasarana. ENGLISH: Presidential Regulation Number 87 of 2017 explains regarding Strengthening Character Education Article 1 Paragraph 1 which reads "strengthening character education, hereinafter abbreviated as PPK, is an educational movement under the responsibility of the education unit to strengthen the character of students through harmonization of heart, feeling and thinking. , and sports with involvement and cooperation between educational units, families and society as part of the National Movement for Mental Revolution (GNRM).? In addition, the aim of character development is to improve the quality of educational processes and outcomes. As a result, students' noble character and morals need to be formed in a complete, integrated and balanced manner with the competency standards of graduates in each educational unit through the learning process. This research aims to find out: (1) How social character education is implemented for class VIII students at Islamic boarding school-based MTs Al-Husna Probolinggo through social studies learning. (2) What are the driving and inhibiting factors for the implementation of social character education for students in class VIII of Islamic boarding school-based MTs Al-Husna Probolinggo through social studies learning. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis used in the research includes data condensation, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that (1) Implementation of Social Character Education for class VIII students at Islamic boarding school-based MTs Al-Husna Probolinggo through social studies learning is carried out with familiarization in the classroom and outside the classroom. Habituation in the classroom includes planning, implementation and evaluation which is integrated with social character values by the teacher. Then, habituation outside the classroom is carried out by implementing madrasa culture such as 6S (Smile, Greeting, Greeting, Greeting, Polite, Polite), and 7K (Safety, Cleanliness, Order, Beauty, Family, Peace, Health). It is also implemented through several activities such as reading short letters, maintaining cleanliness (Ro'an), congregational prayers, and extracurricular activities. (2) Factors that support the implementation of social character education for students include madrasah rules and regulations,
