Abstract :
Industrial development in Indonesia as a developing country has a fairly rapid progress. It also raises more complicated problems. One problem is that the level of health and safety of employees. It is necessary for depth research on the health and safety of employees so the accidents caused by work and declining health of employees can be minimized.. The aim of this research is to find for causes of changes in health status and safety and occupational health management influence on employees' health conditions and influences the management of employee safety against work accidents. This research was designed in analytic observational research implemented at PT. Sinar Baja Electric. This research has 2 (two) types of variables, the first is occupational health management variables that influence the health conditions of employment variables. The second is safety management variables that affect the variable occurrence of the work accidents. From the research results, the management of occupational health at the PT Sinar Baja Electric so far has a value of 57%, while on work safety management, PT Sinar Baja Electric has a value of 25%. The value of r is obtained that the health of employees influenced of 0.748 times by the management of employee health. While the work accidents are influenced by the management of employee safety at 0.718. Companies are advised to improve the management of health and safety, especially on the parameters that have been researched.
