Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to analyze the coping strategies (the remedies) in dealing with workfamily
conflict (WFC), the effect on job satisfaction and burnout. The survey was conducted in the
area of Mandiri bank employees Semarang Pahlawan consisting of 13 branches. Data were
collected by survey of 142 questionnaires distributed, only 125 were returned, and the number of 119
questionnaires that can be analyzed. The sampling technique used is purposive and convenience
sampling. Validity and reliability of the instrument made before data analysis. Analysis tool used is
the hierarchical regression. Studies show that religios coping to deal with the WFC based on strain,
while the problem focused coping to deal with the WFC based on time, while the WFC is based on
behavior is not affected by anything. By the WFC based on time found effect on job satisfaction,
while the WFC based on behavior and strain found no effect on job satisfaction. Another finding that
the WFC based on behavior of a stronger influence on burnout compared with the WFC based on
strain, whereas by the time the WFC found no effect on burnout.

Tujuan studi ini adalah untuk menganalisis strategi coping (cara menanganan masalah) dalam
menghadapi konflik pekerjaan-keluarga (KPK), yang berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja dan
burnout. Survei dilakukan pada para pegawai Bank Mandiri area Semarang Pahlawan. Data
dikumpulkan dengan metode survei dari 142 kuesioner yang dibagikan, hanya 125 yang kembali,
dan sejumlah 119 kuesioner yang dapat dianalisis. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah
purposive dan convenience sampling. Uji validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen dilakukan sebelum
analisis data.alat analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi hirarkikal. Studi menunjukkan bahwa
religios coping untuk menghadapi KPK berdasarkan ketegangan (strain), sedangkan problem fokus
coping untuk menghadapi KPK berdasarkan waktu, sementara KPK berdasarkan perilaku tidak
dipengaruhi oleh apapun. KPK berdasarkan waktu ditemukan berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan
kerja, sedangkan KPK berdasarkan ketegangan dan perilaku ditemukan tidak berpengaruh terhadap
kepuasan kerja. Temuan lain bahwa KPK berdasarkan perilaku lebih kuat berpengaruh terhadap
burnout dibandingkan dengan KPK berdasarkan ketegangan, sedangkan KPK berdasarkan waktu
tidak ditemukan berpengaruh terhadap burnout.
