Abstract :
Juno is the title of a movie that tells a young sixteen years old girl who faces a complicated problem. The writer chooses this movie because this movie tells about morality and teaches the teenage how to be mature in the right time. The other reason, the writer is also interested in psychoanalysis especially Sigmund Freud. By writing this thesis, the writer wants the reader to see how to analyze character in the movie using Sigmund Freud psychoanalysis. This approach tells about three human psychesthese are Id, Ego and Superego. Juno as an unusual girl whose personality is Smart, witty and mature at her age. Juno gets pregnant after she does a sexual intercourse with her boyfriend, Pauli Bleeker. Although at first she wants to do an abortion, then she goes to visit a clinic, suddenly she changes her mind to keep her pregnancy because her friend Su-Chin, an anti-abortion activist tells her that baby has ?fingernails?. The fingernails make Juno decide to give the baby up for adoption. She should defend herself with a lot of problems because of her decision. As a young girl, Juno is an example for teenagers who brave to take a risk because of her decision so the teenagers have not to do a free sex because it can ruin their future.
