Abstract :
Roles of mass media in social life different each other, but its roles are significant in modern society. Theoretically, mass media aim to submit the information truly, where this truth is determined by importance of survival of itself media. For truth of company property of that's reality presented by media of non simply reality delayed, but also reality edited. News of 32nd Muktamar NU in Makassar draw to be studied by, because goodness of before the Muktamar take place and at the time of taking place till have got the big portion news during days, even there are special page. Reason chosen the newspaper of JAWAPOS and KOMPAS because of the media own the different news version. Framing is approach to know how in perpective or way of approach used by journalist of when select the issue and write the news. While for the model in framing which researcher use hence model of framing Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki, because there are four peripheral framing. That is syntax, skrip, tematik and retoris. (Eriyanto, 2001:254-256). Result of research conducted can be taken by conclusion that Newspaper of JAWAPOS of framing news process the general election Rais Am and Chief of Tanfidziyah period 2010-2015 that goes on with the drama, full of rivalities and stress. More showing of process of more compared to intensive public chief election of Rais Am. KOMPAS of framing news process the general election Rais Am and Chief of Tanfidziyah period 2010-2015 mirroring a tradition grown on since standing Nahdlatul Ulama scholar.
