Abstract :
The study was based on the image on the cover of Gatra. On the magazine cover looks like a tool UPVC who hung herself conclusion may block the release of gasoline from the nozzle so that only one drop out. Because the picture on a magazine cover illustration was related to government policy in raising fuel prices. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive semiotic approach. In this study using the theory of Charles Sanders Pierce. Data were analyzed using an approach that divides the concept of Pierce signs the sign into three categories, namely icons, indices, and symbols and using the triangle concept of meaning. Of these signs can be drawn a conclusion that is made up of icons, indexes, and symbols in this study are related or linked. And of these signs can be drawn a conclusion of a meaning.
