Abstract :
This study aims to determine patterns of communication and conflict resolution, among couples who both worked in financial terms using strategy of conflict management. Theoretical basis used in this study were interpersonal communication, communication patterns husband and wife as well as conflict management strategies Joseph A.Devito. The method used was qualitative research using in-depth interview technique. Here the qualitative method using the Rachmat Kriyantono. Collecting data in this study using a question posed to informan based on the interview guide. Researches took five pairs of informants are both working. This informant couples have financial conflict in their household. The result of this study based on analysis of data obtained from interviews, an outline is on the couple informants 1, 2, and 5 using the communication patterns in couples monopoly while informants 3 and 4 using the communication patterns of the separator is not balanced. In the face of financial conflict occur, the couple informants 1, 3, 4, and 5 using a strateg of Avoidance and active fighting strategies ( avoiding conflict by leaving the place of conflict ). Meanwhile, two pairs of informants using strategies Argumentativeness ( harbored feelings when conflicts occur)
