Abstract :
This study aims to determine how the meaning of caricature version of "Don Komo" Tempo period 11 November 2011. This study uses the analysis of Charles Sanders Peirce's semiology consists of three categories: icons (icon), index) and symbol (symbol). The method used is descriptive qualitative method. The results of this study is that there are icons in caricature drawing Tempo magazine edition of "Don Komo" is a caricature drawing dragons are wearing suits and bow ties are described as an artist. Likened to the artist, often appearing on television because polemics on the island of Komodo sticking on the surface and in the community since the uproar began digembor heralded a massive both in the media and television. Index is in caricature drawing comments "VIVA DON Komo" Celebrity Million dollars. This was interpreted as an allusion to the dragons, the amount of fees received from the polling SMS in New 7Wonders. Controversy about where the money to support the SMS poll komodo also be important to be questioned, because of the large amount diibartkan million dollars. Symbol in the picture is a caricature of a small snake that was yellow and black. The yellow color symbolizes the sun's energy, memory, logical imagination, social energy, cooperation, happiness, joy, warmth, loyalty, mental stress, perception, understanding, wisdom, betrayal, jealousy, deceit, weakness, a coward, action, idealism, optimism, imagination, hope, summer, philosophy, uncertainty, worry and suspicion. Color Yellow stimulates mental activity and attract attention.
