Abstract :
The source of this research is based on problems that occurred after the emergence of Ring Ganja account Nusantara "LGN" in the social networking site Facebook. The controversy began to emerge among the public, the pro side of this account and of course there is also a counter-party. Efforts of the parties involved in the container is in the socialization of cannabis pelegalisasian support marijuana legalization movement is what makes researchers want to conduct a study on the perception among students that appear to account Archipelago Ring Ganja "LGN" in the social networking site Facebook. Theory used in this study is depedensi theory of mass communication effects, this theory focuses on the structural condition of a society that govern the likelihood of an effect of mass media. This theory departs from the nature of modern society, where mass media is considered as an information system which has an important role in the process of maintaining, changing, and conflicts in society, groups, and individuals in social activities. In summary the study of these effects can be formulated with Cognitive, Affective,Behavioral. The method used in qualitative research methods that aim to explain the phenomenon with deep. This method describes the outline of an event as well as clear as possible in the absence of treatments on the studied object. Conclusion The results of this study indicate that the majority of informants perceive the overall response Ring Ganja account Nusantara "LGN" in the social networking site facebook is merpakan account that will have negative impacts on society, especially for teens and college students as the future generation because the account is based on the interests certain individuals only.
