Abstract :
The porpuse of this study was to determine how the Representataion of ? Power ? caricature section on the site Matanews.com Om Kedip Edition Thursday, January 12, 2012. Because these images have something to do with the case Banggar reporting problems in the DPR. The theory used is the semiotic of Charles Sanders Peirce who divide between sign and referent into three categories: Icon, Index, Symbol is a sign that the relationship between the marker and the marker is the same natural shape. Frame of mind which is used in this study based on Frame of Reference (based on knowledge) and the Field of Experience (backfield). Semiotic methods in qualitative research is descriptive, ie a method that is easier to adjust when it is in fact double this study, presents a direct relationship between the researcher with the object of researchers, more sensitive and can adjust to a lot of influence on the patterns of face value. Techniques of data analysis in this research is descriptive method, the data collected in the form of words and images. The results and conclusions are based on the analysis icon, index, and symbol according to Charles Sanders Pierce ( Triangle of Meaning ) is the Power of the Budget or Banggar happened in the DPR.
