Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to determine how the representation of the struggle in the novel 2. The theories are used, among other books as print media, karaya literature as a process of communication, literary novels as komuniksai mass media, novels, representation, struggle, Roland Barthes semiology. In this study the authors used qualitative research methods, with Roland barhess semiology analysis approach. With the subject of research is novel 2, the object of research is the text that represents struggle in the novel 2. The corpus ia all the text that the struggle in the novel 2. The conclusion of this study is that there are 20 leksia represents Struggle in the novel 2. This novel tells of a woman who struggles to survive the disease of obesityand realize the ideals of athletics badminton with limitations. The novel is intended for the public to always fight for life and story of this novel can be used as experience.
