Abstract :
PT. Mega Surya Mas manufacturing production and is engaged in the production of soap. Continuity of the production process depends on the reliability of the equipment and employees. Risk of damage to equipment will interfere with the smooth on the production and the level of employee safety. In industrial environments, especially in PT. MEGA SURYA MAS accidents still occur causing lacerations and swelling in the elbow because that goes hand-in mixer machine, conveyor pinched causing swelling in the palm of your hand, and there are still a couple of accidents that occur. Having regard to the above background, here the researchers tried to identify accident causes and aspects, to reduce workplace accidents and determine the level / rate of accidents in PT.MEGA Surya Mas. In this study focuses on soap production units which are prone to accidents. The method used in this study to implement the method in analyzing HAZOP health and safety. By this method will be to know the level / rate of accidents in PT.MEGA Surya Mas. Results Programme Implementation achievement K3 PT.MEGA Surya Mas (Being on the Range 60% -84%) and level 3 (carefully) with a YELLOW color categories.
