Abstract :
Human resources is very important for companies to manage, organize and
utilize employees so it can function productively for the achievement of corporate
objectives, human resources in an enterprise needs to be managed professionally
in order to realize a balance between the demands and the needs of employees
with the ability of the company. This study aims to (1) To analyze the training,
skills, and relationships between superiors and subordinates simultaneously affect
the performance of employees at PT. PLN (Persero) Area Pelayanan dan Jaringan
Sidoarjo. (2) To analyze the training, skills, and relationships between superiors
and subordinates partial effect on the performance of employees at PT. PLN
(Persero) Area Pelayanan dan Jaringan Sidoarjo.
Based on the above, the researchers want to study about the effect of
training, skills, relationships between superiors and subordinates on the
performance of employees at PT. PLN (Persero) Area Pelayanan dan Jaringan
Sidoarjo. So that the formulation of the problem is whether the training, skills, and
relationships between superiors and subordinates influence simultaneously and
partially on the performance of employees at PT. PLN (Persero) Area Pelayanan
dan Jaringan Sidoarjo. The population in this study was the number of employees
amounted to 177 people on PT. PLN (Persero) Area Pelayanan dan Jaringan
Sidoarjo in 2012. The sample used is the number of respondents who were taken
by 64 respondents as limiting employees in all divisions at PT. PLN (Persero)
Area Pelayanan dan Jaringan Sidoarjo.
Based on calculations using multiple linear analysis techniques regression
namely that simultaneously using the F test showed a significant relationship
between these three variables. Variable partial training had no significant effect on
employee performance. Variable ability partial no significant effect on employee
performance. Variable relationship between superiors and subordinates
significantly and positively on employee performance. Independent variables that
have the greatest influence on employee performance is the relationship between
superiors and subordinates, as independent variables skills training and
independent variables is not a significant effect on performance.
