Abstract :
This study examined the association between exposure to news of child sexual abuse on television with anxiety housewife in Surabaya. This study uses the theory of S - O - R. Methods This study uses a quantitative approach with correlation analysis is a method to find the relationship between two or more variables. And the sampling technique used was accidental sampling. In analyzing the data using Spearman Rank method, then performed using the ttest proving the hypothesis. The results are based on data analysis to test the correlation, at 0.1152 which could value the relationship is very low. While the results of hypothesis testing, t-test result is obtained thitung (1.1480) is smaller than ttabel (1.980) which means that the hypothesis proposed in this study was rejected. It means that there is no relationship between exposure to news of child sexual abuse on television with anxiety housewife. Keyword : Theory S-O-R, Child Sexual Abuse, Anxiety
