Abstract :
Managerial performance in public sector organizations is very important because if the
managerial performance is not good so, it will not be able to maintain the existence or survival of
the institution or public sector organization. The success of public sector organizations has a
good government purpose and policies set forth institution when institutions stand. To facilitate
the achievement of these purpose requires the existence of an agency managerial performance is
good and effective in operation the public sector organizations. Managerial performance is
influence by several factors related to themselves as well as environment-related agency or
organization. This study aims to analyze the effects of decentralization, organization
commitment, and work motivation on Social Services of Surabaya.
The variables used were Decentralization (X1), Organizational Commitment (X2), Work
Motivation Work (X3) on SKPD Managerial Performance (Y). Scale in this study is the Likert
scale. The populations in this study include the head of the Office, Chief of Section, Head of
Section, Section Chief, Division Chief, Secretary, Staff, amounting to 23 people. Sampling
technique used in this study was a census study, where the number of samples equal to the
number of population. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regressions.
The results of this study are regression model suitable for testing the effect of
Decentralization (X1), Organizational Commitment (X2), Work Motivation (X3) on Managerial
Performance SKPD (Y) with a calculated F value of 4.209 and a significance level of 0.019.
Decentralization (X1) and Work Motivation (X3) had no effect on SKPD Managerial
Performance (Y) while the Organizational Commitment (X2) effect on SKPD Managerial
Performance (Y).
