Abstract :
Quality is a dynamic state associated with products, people, processes and tasks, and environments that meet or exceed the expectations of customers or consumers. Consumers as users increasingly critical in choosing a product or use the product so that this situation resulted in increasingly important role in the quality. CV. Tanah Aron is one of the companies engaged in the production of rubber and plastic, which is located on Jl. Abdul Kharim No.. 76 AA Surabaya. The products produced by CV. Tanah Aron is Rubber Seal, Rubber Packing, Rubber Oring, Rubber Connection pipe taps, Castor, Socket, and many other products. Of various products produced by CV. Tanah Aron researchers focused on product type Gas Tube Rubber Seal KTG-50AL with disabilities prosesntase of 29,86%. At KTG 50-AL products, there are 4 types of disability that is Merintis, Tebal, Gupil, and Lengket. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the factors - factors that cause disability or defect, calculate the level of disability that occurs in Gas Cylinder Seal Rubber products, and perform the Proposed improvements. The results showed that based on the data processing by using Seven Tools (Hisogram, Pareto Chart, Map Control P, and Fishbone Diagram) can know the number of defects on the type of disability of Rubber Seal Gas Cylinder type KTG-50AL for 6 months is Merintis by 2,31%, Tebal of 1,15%, Gupil by 1.08%, and Lengket by 0,43%. To reduce the disability researchers make 5W + 1H matrix as proposed revisions to the company as well as to standardize the QCC. Darin results after the proposed improvement of data processing is done by the company can know the number of this type of defect in the Rubber Seal Gas Cylinder type KTG-50AL for 3 months at 1,15% is Merintis , Tebal of 0,52%, 0,47% Gupil , and Lengket by 0.21%.
