Abstract :
In the era of globalization, our country would change rapidly in various
fields, including education, through education people can develop their potential
as a whole, so it is also educational progress of a nation, including the Indonesian
nation, can be achieved. This study formulates the problem as to whether
Motivation, Study Habits and Learning Environment effect on University
Accounting Students Achievement National Development "Veteran" Force of
East Java 2010. The purpose of this study was to determine empirically and prove
the influence of Motivation, Study Habits and Learning Environment for Learning
achievement.
Variable used is the Motivation (X1), Study Habits (X2), and Learning
Environment (X3) on Learning Achievement (Y). Scale in this study is a Likert
scale. Strata one student (S1) Accounting courses Universities National
Development "Veteran" East Java class of 2010, amounting to 189 students. The
sample in this study was 66 students. Analysis technique used was Partial Least
Square (PLS).
The results of this study are models Partial Least Square (PLS) produced
no significant effect to test the effect of motivation (X1), Study Habits (X2), and
the learning environment (X3) on Learning Achievement (Y). Based on the
research that has been done indicates that the variable Motivation, Study Habits
and learning environment have no effect on learning achievement.
