Abstract :
The purpose of research is is to know objektifitas news on a newspaper java heading in takeover control partai demokrat by SBY. The theory worn in this research is the newspaper characteristic of the newspaper understanding and function of the press, theory press freedom, objektifitas news. Methods used in this research is method research quantitative, using analysis the contents of hotman siahaan. Population in research was all news located in the front page of a newspaper java post takeover about democratic control by SBY on 9 and 10 February 2013. The results of this research are the Annunciation in the Jawa Pos on the takeover of control of the Democratic Party by SBY not objective, there are two elements of objectivity that has not been fulfilled (relevance and impartiality) is only the truth that is complete, it can only be said that this news is true according to the real events but has not been objective.
