Abstract :
This research is based on participatory works of citizen journalism from numerous community in Indonesia which is linked together, in order to share about local information which is happened in their each regions. In this research, the writer had focusing to the section of giving information about local issue in Surabaya. The method used to determine the credibility, are the in-depth interview method, which is included in qualitative descriptive study.Which are using the informant of the Akumassa?sreaders in Surabaya. Here, the writer using the theory of credibility in communication by Sasa Duarsa Sendjaja and Onong U. Effendy. Result of this study, in writer opinion is, the credibility of Akumassais having a positive way from their readers in Surabaya.
