Abstract :
Background of this research is based on where a single father who did not live with their children growing into teenagers. This is shown to understand the comunication patterns of errors that do not live with my father this can be avoide. Theoretical basis used to use interpersornal communication and communication pattern by using the authoritarian, permissive an authoritative by Yusuf. Methods of resesarch used qualitative approach and adat collection techniques with in-depth interview. The results of this research are two fathers with teenage children embracing permissive communication patters and the patterns of communicationadopted authoritative. So broadly that most fathers being a single parent with teenagers embracing communication pattern permissive. Keyword : Communication Pattern, Father , Single Parent , Teenagers
