Abstract :
Caricatures that impressed ludicrous to make the criticism that conveyed not so perceivedharass or embarrass. Caricature that observed in this study were caricatures in the daily Clekit Jawa Pos. The purpose of this study was to determine the meaning of the Democratic Party on caricature Clekit in Jawa Pos Edition July 14, 2011. This study used a qualitative descriptive method, with the semiotics of Charles Sanders Pierce's analysis is based on icons, indexes and symbols. After going through the Triangle of Meaning Peirce can be seen that the bent flagpole, mean that the Democrats are the party conflict. 5 tail worm that propagates, five caterpillars synonymous with those democrat party to the conflict such as bribery or corruption cases. While the words "Partai Demokrat" with arial letter possessed a formal sense, a simple and familiar.
