Abstract :
The research was conducted at Java Post newspaper opinion column. In the opinion section studies the period January 2012 until April 2012 at Java Post newspaper was chosen on the grounds that the rubric for the month was lifted events or new problems experienced by the community. Source or theory contained on this research is the theory propounded by Flournoy in Kriyantono (2006: 237-239) about the themes category grouping that consists of lots 11 categories. Directions opinions contained in newspaper opinion column Java Post-month in January 2012 to April 2012 has the most negative way, which was shown to criticize or reject an activity or a perceived lack of appropriate decisions by the party as the object diopinikan. For this type of opinion is expressed most informative type, which is a business writer for the supply of information or background on this particular issue to the reader
