Abstract :
REPRESENTATION OF WOMEN DISCRIMINATION IN THE NOVEL ?RONGGENG DUKUH PARUK? This research purpose to know how women discriminations representation through ?Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk novel? written by Ahmad Tohari. This reaserch is a qualitative research using analysis Roland Barthes semilogy approach. Novel is the research subject, and texts which represent of women discrimination is research object. The whole texts which represent of women discrimination are the corpus. The ground theory are novel, discrimination, representation, Roland Barthes semilogy approach, which give meaning at leksia-leksia, that represent of women discrimination in novel texts. Researcher classify analysis data presentation into five leksian reading code: hermeneutic code, semic code, symbolic code, proaretik code, gnomic code. After through reading codes Barthes?s,representation discrimination can be found. In conclusion researcher find 22 leksian, which represent women discrimination in Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk novel.
