Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to determine how online news sites and tempointeraktif.com kompas.com in framing the news statement Jakarta governor against rape in urban transportation. This study uses framing analysis techniques with qualitative research methods. Framing device used was owned by Robert N. Entman which consists of four elements, namely the identification problems, causal interpretation, moral evaluation, and treatment recommendation. The results of this study indicate that the statement about the Governor of Jakarta, Fauzi Bowo, against rape in city transportation, have a different persperktif between kompas.com and tempointeraktif.com. Online news sites more emphasis kompas.com Jakarta Governor issues statement towards that rape is not caused by a mini skirt. While tempointeraktif.com emphasized that the statement regarding the Governor of Jakarta mini skirt is an appeal.
