Abstract :
Goals be achieved in this study was determine the meaning caricature Clekit at Java Post Daily Edition Saturday, September 24, 2011. The method used in this study is semiotics Charles Sanders Peirce, caricature in the mass media. The unit of analysis is a sign that there in the form caricature drawings and writings contained in caricature Clekit at Java Post newspaper edition, september 24, 2011 and then interpreted with the use icons, indexes, and symbols. While the data techniques used in this research in descriptive method. This study uses semiotics method. The result of the analysis and interpretation that displays images on a caricature Clekit newspaper at Java Post edition of Saturday, september 24, 2011 is a unified Indonesia cabinet II had protest about hte quality in its work program in the welfare of society and of the ministers who are in the United Indonesia Cabinet II. The conclusion is that people protest the Indonesian cabinet united II in running the program of work for advance society is still not proven, to make people stand firm and give attention to the quality of United Indonesia cabinet II is less than the maximum performance in selecting qualified ministers in the cabinet indonesia united II.
