Abstract :
The research was conducted at Java Post newspaper opinion column . In the opinion section studies the period March 2013 to May 2013 at the Jawa Pos newspaper selected on the grounds that the rubric for the month was raised events or new problems faced by society. Sources or theories contained in this research is the theory advanced by the Kriyantono Flournoy (2006 : 237) of the category grouping themes opinions consists of 11 categories . Directions opinions contained within the rubric of Jawa Pos newspaper opinion Month in March 2013 until May 2013 mostly had a negative direction ,which is indicated to criticize or reject an activity or decision that is less apt to be carried out by parties diopinikan object. For most types of opinions presented informative manifold, which is a business writer for the supply of information about the background of a particular issue or problem to the reader
