Abstract :
PT. Pos Indonesia is a State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) which is engaged
in. Recently the performance of manager has decreased as shown by the declining
quality and quantity as well as decreasing the ability of cooperation among
managers. The reduced quantity and quality of the work is demonstrated by the
increasedreprimand from his superior in 2009, namely an increase in rowing than
in the previousyear (PT Pos Indonesia, 2009). In addition, decline in performance
reflected the manager of the company?s financial performance. The purpose of
this study is to investigate and test the leadership style, job satisfaction and work
motivation has positive influence on the performance of manager in PT Pos
Indonesia in South Surabaya.
Sampling technique used in this research is census technique in which
each of the element are relatively few have the same opportunity to become
members of the sample. The sample used in this study were all members of the
population of this study were 11 people that includes the manager of PT Pos
Indonesia in South Surabaya. The analysis used in this study is the multiple linier
regression analysis to describe the linear influence between independent variables
and the dependent variable.
Based on the result of research and testing has been done can be concluded
that leadership style variable (X1), job satisfaction (X2) and work motivation (X3)
affect the performance of managers (Y). this can be seen from the result obtained
by testing the value of Fcount was at 35,438 with a significant level of 0,001 where
a smaller significance level of 0,05, and regression models generated in this study
are : Y = -20.690 + 0.538 X1 + 0.297 X2+ 0.263 X3, was suitable for use in
testing the hypothesis proposed.
