Abstract :
This research is based on the penomenon of extreme sport show on television stations in Indonesia. One of those impressions is the UFC on RCTI. As a very tought fight UFC cause a lot of controversy in the community, many people who says that the event only shows scenes of violence without the elements sport. And many peoples who want the event was discotinued. But a lot of peoples who think the UFC is an entertaining show. The method used in this study is a qualitative method that aims to explain the phenomena that exist in deeply society. This study uses theory receptions analysis encoding-decoding Stuart Hall and purposive sampling method for the selections of informans. This study focuses on the reception of adults males to UFC events. The result of this study according to the researchers, the public perceives that someone who has a background as a martial considerr UF sport interesting impressions. Violence is towing the community in terms of watching the UFC. Keyword : Man adults, UFC, RCTI, Receptions Analysis.
