Abstract :
The problem in this study is how the credibility of Olga Sahptra as a comedian after experiencing various cases that are considered detrimental to certain parties.
Purpose of this study is to determine how much credibility as a comedian Olga Syahputra.
Theoretical basis used in this study is effective communication, communication elements, S-M-C-R theory, communicator credibility, television as mass media, infotainment, public figures.
Methods used in this research is descriptive quantitative method, which uses content analysis of James McCroskey. Population in this study were adolescents aged 17-25 years
Surabaya.
The result of this study are detailed elaboration of each item question on the questionnaire. Which has been classified based on six aspect, namely competence, confidence, dynamism, charm, personality, charisma. Of the sixth aspect, Olga Syahputra has a high level of credibility.
