Abstract :
Purdah or in Arabic is called al- Niqab, is something that is useful to covernthe entire face of woman, except the eyes or something that looks around the eyes.
In this study, the researcher used a phenomenological approach which the phenomenology study is trying to find an understanding of how the purdahwearing women who are considered negative by the most people were construct
social reality and important concepts in themselves as social interaction and stereotypes. Data collection techniques that used by researchers were in-depth
interviews. The conclusion of this study is social reality the purdah-wearing women have different opinions of each individual as constructing himself as a Muslim woman, honored and motivate her for the better. Social interactions of purdah-wearing women are remains to interact with the community but with a different existence.
