In the current era of globalization, companies must be able to face free competition happens. For that all the company's resources should be deployed to the fullest and professionals to support the company's success, which depends on the success of management. Successful management depends on the availability of relevant information from appropriate data processing. Work order information can be handled in a systematic and practical, it is necessary to Management Information Systems. LP3I Sidoarjo is a company engaged in the business of education. Of a business carried on, this institution has stood long enough and has a library. During this procedure borrowing books, returning books, data members and data books are still done manually so the information becomes slow. To meet the need for this information, it is necessary to develop an adequate information system so as to provide better information than the information provided by the existing system for this. Design of computer-based information system was expected to answer the problems that exist on Library Management Information System for the. The design of the library management information system, using Visual Basic 6.0 applications and uses Microsoft Access as the database. This software provides many advantages and benefits, including; small size of the software, the software is easy to use, and can hold quite a lot of data.
