Abstract :
Interpersonal Communication between parents and their child is very important to increase study motivation of children. But in this case, child who placed far from their parents are different. Their parents got many activities and their child was busy with many tasks will make them hard to communicate. This research aim to determine interpersonal communication between parents and their child to increase motivation of children. In this case, researcher use interpersonal communication. The method used is descriptive method with depth interview method. Parents should approach their child until they comfortable to tell their problems. Interpersonal communication between parents and child should do well. There is feeling of faith, parents and their children supporting one another, and child must be honest with their parents. All of this elements should be completed, so communication between parents and their child become a good and effective communication Keywords : Interpersonal Communication, Parents and children, Study Motivation
