Abstract :
Dunia pendidikan saat ini mengalami perombakan aturan mengenai sistem pendaftaran peserta didik berbasis zonasi, peraturan yang dibuat pemerintah bertujuan agar calon peserta didik dapat memilih sekolah yang jarak radiusnya dekat dengan tempat tinggal. Kurang meratanya informasi membuat calon peserta didik kebingungan untuk mencari di mana letak SMA di Kota Semarang yang termasuk dalam zona mereka. Sedangkan tidak efisien jika calon peserta didik harus mencari informasi secara manual atau datang langsung ke sekolah-sekolah untuk mendapat informasi bahwa sekolah itu masuk dalam wilayah tempat tinggalnya atau tidak. Maka dari itu perlu sebuah sistem informasi berbasis website yang dapat memberikan infomasi secara detail mengenai letak geografis sekolah bagi calon peserta didik jenjang SMA di Kota Semarang. Dalam pengembangan sistem ini menggunakan application programming interface (API) dari Google. Data-data yang ada di dalam table sekolah terutama data latitude dan longitude berhasil ditampilkan dalam bentuk marker atau penanda posisi-posisi sekolah tersebut di Kota Semarang. Sedangkan data-data identitas sekolah sebagai pelengkap informasi berhasil ditampilkan dalam bentuk InfoWindow. Dengan dibuatnya sistem informasi data pemetaan Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di Kota Semarang yang dapat ditampilkan pada website harapannya bisa berguna untuk membantu masyarakat dalam memperoleh informasi terkait dengan lokasi sekolah dan data sekolah melalui InfoWindow. The education world is changing the rules regarding the new zoning-based student registration system, a regulation made by the government that aims so that prospective students can choose a school that is within a radius of a place near their homes. The lack of evenly spread information makes prospective students confused to find where the high school is located in Semarang, which is in their residence zone. While it is very inefficient for prospective students to find information manually or come directly to each school to get information that the school is included in the area of their residence or not. Therefore, it is necessary to design and create a website-based information system that can provide detailed information about the geographical location of schools for prospective high school students in Semarang. The development of this system uses the application programming interface (API) from Google. The data in the school table especially the latitude and longitude data were successfully displayed in the form of school position markers in Semarang. While the school identity data as a complementary information has been successfully displayed in the form infowindow.. With the creation of a high school mapping data information system in Semarang that can be displayed on the website it is hoped that it can be useful to help the community obtain information related to school location and school data through InfoWindow..
