Abstract :
This research is intended to find out the causes of the blind man does displacement, the actions of the displacement, and the effects of the displacement actions. This study applied Freudian psychology theory. It is categorized as a qualitative study. The methods conducted are watching the movie, identifying the data based on the problem, analyzing them, and interpreting them. The causes of the blind man does the displacement is because he could not accept the truth that his daughter was already dead, he also felt that the incident that happened within him was unfair for him. The last reason is because he lost Cindy who was pregnant with his baby. The actions of the displacement conducted by the blind man are shifting a certain feeling and switched his loss. There is a relation between the causes and the actions of the displacement. Therefore, it can give some effects, such as abduction, captivity, and even death.
