Abstract :
Jumlah apotek yang tersebar di wilayah kota Semarang yang cukup luas, maka diperlukan sebuah informasi untuk keberadaan lokasi apotek yang terdekat dengan jarak tempuh yang paling cepat untuk mendapatkan obat dengan segera. Tingginya kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap lokasi apotek tidak diimbangi dengan informasi mengenai lokasi apotek. Selain informasi lokasi apotek yang susah didapat dan masih kesulitan untuk mendapatkan informasi lokasi apotek sesuai dengan yang masyarakat butuhkan. Karena banyaknya orang yang sangat membutuhkan layanan lokasi apotek, masyarakat mulai mencari lokasi terdekat apotek tersebut. Pentingnya peranan apotek yang berada di Semarang menjadi motivasi untuk memecahkan masalah seperti sulitnya mencari lokasi apotek dengan merancang dan membuat sebuah sistem yang dapat digunakan untuk mencari letak apotek. Sistem yang akan dibangun memanfaatkan salah satu teknologi dari Google yaitu google distance matrix service yang merupakan layanan aplikasi peta online yang disediakan oleh Google secara gratis. Implementasi google distance matrix service untuk pencarian apotek dikota Semarang dapat menampilkan posisi pengguna saat ini, menampilkan rute apotek dan menghitung jarak atau waktu tempuh dari posisi pengguna saat ini ke lokasi apotek kota Semarang dengan menggunakan teknologi google distance matrix service pada platform Android The number of pharmacies spread in the city of Semarang is quite extensive, so we need an information for the existence of the location of the nearest pharmacy with the fastest mileage to get drugs immediately. The high needs of the community for the location of pharmacies are not matched by information about the location of pharmacies. In addition to pharmacy location information that is difficult to obtain and is still difficult to get pharmacy location information in accordance with what the community needs. Because of the large number of people who desperately need a pharmacy location service, people start looking for the nearest pharmacy location. The importance of the role of pharmacies in Semarang becomes a motivation to solve problems such as the difficulty of finding a pharmacy location by designing and creating a system that can be used to find the location of a pharmacy. The system that will be built utilizes one of Google's technologies, the Google distance matrix service which is an online map application service provided by Google for free. Implementation of Google Distance Matrix Service to search for pharmacies in the city of Semarang can display the current position of the user, display the route of the pharmacy and calculate the distance or travel time from the current user's position to the location of Semarang city pharmacy using Google Distance Matrix Service technology on the Android platform
