Abstract :
Self-medication is a treatment for common health problems using drugs that can be used without supervision from health workers, as well as safe and effective for their own use. Incorrect self-medication can lead to public knowledge of drugs and their use. This study aims to study the profile of consumers and learn the level of knowledge by cough self-identification of consumers at Kumala Licensed Drugstore in Sukoharjo. This research is a descriptive survey research. Retrieval of primary data using a questionnaire. The sample used was 100 respondents. This research was conducted in April-May 2020. The results of this study were 47% male sex, 53% female sex, lowest age 31-45 years 40%, education at most high school 57%.The level of knowledge influences the behavior of the cough consumers of TOB Kumala.
