Abstract :
This thesis analyse demographic factors of foreign direct investment (FDI) into five developing ASEAN Countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam in 2008-2015 using ordinary least square method. Both quantitative and qualitative methods are used to explain an analysis in empirical and econometric approach. Our result indicates that all of the explanatory variables has a significant impact to foreign direct investment. (1) GDP growth rate have a positive effect to FDI, (2) Total population have a positive effect to FDI, (3) Life expectancy have a positive effect to FDI, (4) Population Density have a negative effect to FDI.
