Abstract :
Abstract: the Arts Building is a place for cultural observers and the public to perform and study Minangkabau culture, as well as a place to perform to instroduce Minangkabau culture such as art performances and culture exhibitions to tourist. The uniquesness and design of the art building of the art building need to be considered, because with it?s uniques and good art form,itcan increase enthusiasm and confort while in there, and attract many tourists to visit both local and foreign tourists. So its necessary to do more interesting are building planning. The planned art bilding themed ? Tourism? with the concept of Reinterprenting Traditional. Reinterprenting Tradition is a theme that can bring back the values contained in Minangkabau vernacular architecture, but by producing a new form without elimiting the essence of these Minangkabau caltture values. The building is located on the shores of lake Maninjau, with the type of building type B, district or city scale. Where there are 3 main rooms, music room, and galleries. In addition, to attract visitors who come then on the site are made intersting supporting facilities, such as children?s play area, library, prayer room, fitness room, culinary room where to shop for the specific culiner from the area, accessories room, garden directly facing the scenery lake, street vendores area, bicycle parking, dock. Therefore, visitore satisfaction is very concerned in this art building. Visitors can not only watch art shows, art exhibitions and study art, but visitors can also do other activities such as sports,shopping, playing, recreaction, relaxing, and enjoying the beautiful views of Lake Maninjau.
