ABSTRACT
Economic growth is a long-term economic problem and is influenced by many factors. Economic growth is a key indicator in economic development and is very important for the development of a region in order to create the welfare of the community. This study aims to prove how in the short-term and long-term local revenue (PAD), government spending and investment have an influence on economic growth in the South Coastal District. The data used in this study is the time series data for 22 years which started from 1995 until 2016, the data used obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics and the Investment Office of Pesisir Selatan Regency. The method used in this research is Error Correction Model (ECM). To see a long-term relationship is used Cointegration Test, while to see the short-term relationship used Error Correction Model.
The results of this study indicate that the local revenue is positive in the short term and long term. Government spending has a positive effect on both the short and long term. Investment has a positive effect in the short and long term.
