ABSTRACT Anggraini, A. 2022. An Analysis Of The Third Year Student?s Speaking Ability After Pandemic Era At FKIP Of Bung Hatta University Advisor: Dr. Joni Alfino S,.Pd, M.Pd The purpose of this research was to describe the third year stuents?s speaking ability after pandemic era at FKIP of Bung Hatta University. Descriptive method was used as the design of this research. The population of this research was the third year students? speaking ability at FKIP of Bung Hatta University who registered in the academic year 2020. The number of population is 30 students. The sample of this research was chosen by using total sampling technique. The data were collected through speaking test at their class. To make the test reliable, the researcher used inter-ratermethod. It means that there were two scorers to check the students?speaking test. The correlation coefficient of two scorers was 0.77 ( High Ability ). It means that the test was reliable. The result of this research showed that in general students had high ability in speaking ability after pandemic era at FKIP of Bung Hatta University. It was proved by the finding that there are (30%) students had very high, and high ability. In specific, the students had high ability seen from content, it was proved by the finding that (30%) students had high ability. Next, the students had moderate ability in using vocabulary, it was proved by the finding that (13,3%) students had moderate ability. It was proved by the finding that (23,3%) students had low ability seen from grammar, it was proved by the finding that (23,3%) students had low ability. Based on the results of this, the researcher suggested to the students, always practice themselves it can help to improve their ability to speak English well. And next, the future researchers, the researcher suggested to used another topic to practice and improve your ability in speaking. Keywords: Speaking Ability, Speaking Practice, Improve Ability.
